Man, each and every time I play a new video game, I always have to worry about the system requirements of the video game, and it is no different this time around with the Dota 2 system requirements. However, thanks to the developer of Dota 2, which is the Valve Corporation, both the minimum as well as the recommended system requirements for this video game have already been released. This means that, as you wait until the video game is finally released, you can make sure that your computer system is ready to be able to run Dota 2 once it is released.

By the way, here is a small word on the Dota 2 release date before I completely get into the Dota 2 system requirements. It turns out that Dota 2 will be delayed by the Valve Corporation to sometime in 2012, and people were actually expecting this video game to come out by the end of 2011! Right now, all that we officially know about the release date of this video game is that it is going to land in 2012, but the specific day and the specific month are a mystery at the time of this writing. Right now, Dota 2 is in its closed beta phase of game development, and it is quite obvious to me that the Valve Corporation is making sure that everything is running smoothly and without bugs before they release it to us gamers, which I can totally respect. However, what I do not respect is how long the developer is taking. Hurry up, Valve!

The good news, though, about the Dota 2 system requirements is that they are not going to tax your computer all that much. Let’s start with the minimum system requirements to run this game. Now, the minimum system requirements just mean that, if you have them, you will be able to play Dota 2 on your PC. However, if you want a more optimal experience in gameplay, I suggest you upgrade your PC so that you can reach the recommended system requirements for Dota 2. If you are already at the point where your PC supports the recommended system requirements, then more power to you!

If you can get your PC to meet the above requirements, then you are all good to go when Dota 2 finally hits later in 2012.
