Where is the Dota 2 Trailer Available?

By now, you have probably either seen or heard of the Dota 2 trailer, especially if you are as big a Dota 2 fan as I am. Just in case, though, you have been living under a rock for the past half a year or so and do not know where the trailer is or have not even seen it yet, then I can help you, big time. Simply head to the official Dota 2 website, and then view the trailer of the anticipated and upcoming video game right on your PC screen. Sounds easy enough, does it not? Here is the Dota-2-trailer below:

By the way, you are a little bit more than half a year late to this Dota 2 trailer if you are really only seeing it now for the first time. I have been watching it since August 15, 2011, the day that the Valve Corporation—which is the developer of Dota 2 or Defense of the Ancients 2—made it available for all us Dota 2 fans right on its official website. Even though I have already seen said trailer seemingly hundreds of times since more than half a year ago, I can’t get enough of it, which kind of makes a whole lot of sense when you think about why.

The Valve Corporation has been delaying the release of Dota 2 (it had originally been thought and expected that late 2011 would see the release of this action fantasy strategy video game), and even right now, it is still unclear as to when exactly the Valve Corporation is going to release this sequel to the Defense of the Ancients mod for The Frozen Throne and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. You see, even though the Valve Corporation has come out and stated that 2012 would see the release of Dota 2, it has unfortunately come short of offering a specific date within 2012! That means no day or month was ever provided by the developer—just the year, 2012, is all we know.

I hope you can now see why I have been watching the Dota 2 trailer so much! Basically, it is the only thing that fans of Dota 2 have to tide them over until this multiplayer, standalone sequel finally is released later on in 2012. Well, actually, that is not entirely true. Let me tell you what else I have been doing as I continue to bide my time and wait with high anticipation for this great sequel to finally be released later in 2012. I have gone ahead and pre-ordered Dota 2. That’s right: I want to make sure that my copy of this game is reserved and waiting there for me on the very first day that this game is finally released. After all, it would make no sense for any true fan to do any less, especially when this game has already been delayed so much! If you are reading this, then I urge you to go ahead and do the exact same thing that I did, which is pre-order Dota 2 today.

At this point, all that I am doing is talking with my friends about Dota 2, watching the Dota 2 trailer and hoping that the Valve Corporation finally gets it together with regard to the release date of this sweet game! I can’t wait to finally experience this video game’s epic gameplay firsthand, and I desperately want to know what it will be like to control my hero character. Until the official release date, though, I suppose I will just watch the trailer and play the first Dota some more.
